Michael Sauer
Michael is a multi-disciplinary artist, who focuses primarily on photography. Based in Patchogue, Michael is a visual arts teacher and earned a B.A. in Art History and Criticism.
Michael enjoys exploring the world around us. He enjoys the beauty of locations that have been neglected by the majority of our society. He is interested in the effect time has on the structures and monuments man has built. He finds beauty in the reconquest of these locations by nature and the contrast it provides. He also documents the street art created on the large abandoned walls that serve as canvases for adventurous artists. Michael also enjoys exploring the wonders of nature and the colors and moods it creates.
