Karen Celella is a local artist working with fine art photography, origami, quilling, paper art and mixed media. Each one enhances a different aspect of life. Origami has provided a meditative exercise as the foundation and expands into a creative vision requiring precise planning, organizing and finishing. Each piece is designed to represent nature, symbology, or emotions. Karen’s work has found new homes across the nation and around the world. TV studios, public spaces, publications, books, magazines, cards, directories, advertisements, web sites, collectors and private homes are some of the places her art can be seen. Works have been in many exhibits and contests, being honored with many awards
