Support creativity by making a charitable contribution to Smithtown Township Arts Council, Inc.

Your donation matters. It helps us in every aspect of the work we do to support artists and creative programs for people of all ages. Long Island provides a level of cultural diversity in the arts that is rare for suburban communities.  And, as a local charitable organization we recognize the importance of giving back to the community in which we live.  This adds a quality to life that our descendants can benefit from for generations to come. Why Support Us?

Engage with Art...

The Historic Mills Pond House provides a creative outlet to experience and discover contemporary art. Our thematic and juried art exhibitions invite the public to explore cultural issues which are engaging and relevant to their daily lives and provide opportunities for local and regional artists at all career levels to exhibit and gain exposure to new audiences.

“The arts do live continuously, and they live literally by faith; their names and their shapes and their uses and their basic meanings survive unchanged in all that matters through times of interruption, diminishment, neglect; they outlive governments and creeds and the societies, even the very civilization that produced them. They cannot be destroyed altogether because they represent the substance of faith and the only reality. They are what we find again when the ruins are cleared away”
— Katherine Anne Porter (May 15, 1890 – September 18, 1980) , American journalist
