Sachie Hayashi

Sachie’s mixed media is a collection of shapes of nature scenes using contour lines defined by light, shadow, and emotions from the awe-moments. The inner voice adds the conversations with the scene for more liveliness of the core of the inspiration while she creates. Her works are about a message or gift of moments she encounters such as sacred moment that the softest rain came into this world in quiescence, moment of awaited sun comes up, resilient aspirations in the wave of life force, and hope in the sunset.

Her works have been exhibited in museums like Hammond Museum in New York, Pusan City Museum in Korea, Artist’s Museum in Texas, and Toyota Municipal Museum in Japan as well as numerous galleries in the United States and other countries. Her sculpture, “Soul” is a permanent collection of the Garden of Great Ideas in the sculpture garden of Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington D.C.
