Visualizing the Past - Juried Fine Art - Exhibit Dates August 7 - September 5, 2021

Visualizing the Past Juror Carol Strickland called for artists to explore the role of remembrance. “The art to be shown sounds both comforting and discomfiting notes, ranging from joy to melancholy. Because they are the product of the artists’ thoughts as well as their emotions, viewers will find them compelling and moving. Whether celebratory of past happiness or poignant evocations of loss, art gives visual expression to what would otherwise remain locked inside each individual.”
